The commute is a bummer in the morning, but you can minimize the damage by taking Almaden Expressway to the 87 onramp. I work odd hours and it's a breeze for me. Very easy to get to the freeways.
Thank you so much for the info. I am scheduling a tour to see the house and on my way back I will take Almaden Expressway and see how that goes. I will keep you all posted. May be I should try Pappageorgeo's Pizza while I am down there. Thanks again.

Ok. After months of research, we ended up buying a brand new TH in Sunnyvale. Every house we looked at had issues to take care of. We thought why take over someone else's problems.. Anyway, it is not the dream house, because it is not a single home. But again it is brand new and is in an area that we have been living in for the last 5 years. So we are excited. Thank you all for all your support. You guys have been great.....

Hey, at least you're happy.

It would be nice if I could afford not to get "someone else's problem"...

Yeah, I was thinking the same thing .

That said, LBB1, we're happy for you . Thanks for letting us know what happened. By the way, almost everyone who lives in SV or any coastal California metro area can not afford anything close to their "dream house". That's life in high cost Cafornia. Furthermore, the "dream house" or any kind of dream always seems to be something that's a little more than what you currently have. Human nature, I think.
