Why condescending attitude towards East Palo Alto? Just curious what was meant.... may be you find more adventure in Oakland city, why bother with EPA

Because people not from here don't realize the East Palo Alto isn't just the east end of Palo Alto, but a whole separate city with a VERY different atmosphere and culture. It's not condescending, we're just having a little laugh.

Big difference between day and night - much like Compton, which also has seen improvement since the 80's/90's, one only need ask residents. Whereas the town shows promise in the daytime, walking Fido after dinner presents a perilous experience.
