Anyone know if we can get round gutter downspouts in the Bay Area / San Jose? My house has those old style gutter downspouts, and they weren't assembled well, and leak water out the sides. Thought I should replace them. Other than that the rest of the gutter system appears functional so rather not do a whole replacement unless have to or unless replacing downspouts in itself costs so much that I should replace whole thing. I only need to replace 5.

Seems Home Depot and Lowes doesn't really sell them.

I'm thinking the rain gutter selection is seasonal, just like barbecues in the spring. We have such a pronounced rainy vs. dry season that they probably limit the selection from April through October, and then carry more stock. So that's why someone was able to find it at Lowe's at the right time of year. We're starting to come up on that season, so I'd look closer to Halloween.

Just an update to this thread for readers/visitors. I ended up getting some parts from the local San Jose store/branch of Home | ABC Supply.

LOL, I forget when I got the parts, it ain't 3 years in the making. Just thought I'd put a long overdue update/comment in case others are looking for the same parts, to provide yet another place to get them. I haven't been on this forum much lately.

I actually ended up replacing the gutters (to contemporary ones) with a reroof last year while putting in sun tunnel and bath fan that required cutting up holes in a roof that was getting old. So the parts I got ended up being an interim measure for about 2 years.
