I'm wondering what the approximate cost per square foot was that you paid?

Thanks.

I know somebody who had it done last week, but it's more than sq ft - it also includes how TALL the house is. He has a 2 story house, prob about 2500 sq ft, and it cost him 3500.

I was quoted around $2200 for a 2500 square foot two-story house. The quote was from TAPS, so it was whoever they use for tenting (they sub it out).

Are we talking about termite fumigation tenting? I had mine done early this year at about $1500 for about 1435 sq ft 1 story home. Also depends on the company you select. That was the best price I got from a company that also doesn't sub out their work.

I was quoted $1475 by Thrasher Termite for a 2000-square foot single story house. Have not yet proceeded because all of the "if we break anything, we're not liable" language in the contract has made me wary.

I contracted with Thrasher to tent my house a few years ago. The company that showed up was Discount Fumigation (or something like that).

So... do a google search for fumigation companies.

Thanks everyone. Many years ago I used Terminix simply b/c they didn't sub-contract and at that time (in my area) there was a rash of sub-contractors burglarizing!! So I, too, am wary of sub-contracted fumigation. Having said that, this house will be vacant so it's not an issue for us.
