I'm a "give a fish, feed him for a day - teach a guy to fish, feed him for a lifetime" kinda guy, so I'll you you how to easily figure it out for yourself.

* Go to google maps ( https://maps.google.com/ )

* enter 1070 Foxchase Dr, San Jose, CA

* click on the "directions" link

* put in the other address (say, 1 Infinite Loop, Cupertino, CA) and click on "directions" button

notice that each route has a "XXX miles, YYY minutes" next to it. It *also* has a "In current traffic:" with miles and estimated time. So if you do this at 8:30AM and 5:30PM a couple of times, you'll have an idea of how long it will take.

(Although it currently says that the driving time "in current traffic" on 85 is the same as the average time, which I'm pretty sure is bull****. 85 slows down to 10-15 mph, then speeds up to 30-45 mph, then slows down, etc. all the way between I-280 and 17 starting around 4:30.)
