Hello,

Was wondering if i could pay the registration renewal fees on behalf of my friend in the DMV? I do have the supporting Insurance details on his name too. But just that he can not visit the DMV in person and i could pay on his behalf.

I know it sounds very simple, but the DMV offices are a major mess in the Bay Area at least and its better to know if i can or not, rather than ending up knowing that i cant after waiting in the line for few hours at the office.

Any suggestions and feedback, will be of great help !

Cheers !

Can't you pay renewal fees online on the DMV website?

Yes you can. And your friend could simply send in the renewal they got in the mail.
