Hi! We are re-locating from Canada to Bay Area in a couple of months. I have a three year old daughter and I am looking for a good preschool for her. I am aware about the Challenger schools but I really need info about other schools. We would be arriving July - August, which is already very late for registering for the September session. Any info about preschools in San Jose would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Hi. I am a retired pre-school teacher from San Jose. I can highly recommend Action Day Nurseries. They have several locations in the San Jose area, and offer great pre-school programs as well as private elementary and middle schools. Their website is Action Day | Primary Plus. Good luck!

Hi, pa_ja. I am a retired pre-school teacher from San Jose, and I highly recommend Action Day Nurseries. They have several locations for their pre-schools, as well as private elementary and middle schools. They also offer day care if you need it. Good luck!

I am a preschool teacher from Morgan Hill (just south of where you are moving). I would NOT recommend Challenger. 4 yr olds learn through play and that program expects them to be rocket scientists. Please look on the NAEYC website for recommendations.
Good Luck!
