I've been eating tofu and other soy products since I was a kid and I've haven't changed genders (I am a guy).

True dat. Even if you combine legumes & grains properly, the ratio of carbohydrates to proteins you get from non-meat sources alone is still way too high to be optimal for _most_ people.

Funny how the story changed so quickly. The premise was "You don't get {complete proteins} from veggies", which is complete BS. Since it was obvious that was complete BS, the story changed. Typical.
