There are many movers and shakers companies in the SV, not just these three.
Besides Samsung is just a lucky company (not innovative) profited from android and controversial patented idea from Apple.
I am not a big fun of google either. All they do is advertisement. gmail is becoming increasingly complicated to use and youtube is infested with video ads. I'd prefer microsoft.

There are many companies much better than these two.
There are many others. But these three are the only ones I feel are exciting enough for ME to work at. Especially Tesla and Google. While all the other companies are business and money-oriented, there's something about the three I listed above. I feel like they're around not just for the money, but there's an actual interest in furthering our civilization's progress as well.

As for Tesla, they are the future of transportation tech. Musk isn't going to stop at cars, he'll move the company along to bigger and better things in the transportation world. This is just the beginning, I can't wait to see what they cook up in 20-30 years. Easily the most exciting company in the Bay in the last 10 years!

What I like is that they look like normal cars, even though they're all electric. I'm really tired of all of these other electric cars that look like 80s "futuristic" and "space age" matchbox diecast cars or like something out of the Jetsons.
