I live nearby scott and monroe, and there are some private jets flying around a day long, plus some noise from airport. I thinkI probably coulnd't do anything to airport flights, but for the private jet which flys super low and all day long, is there anywhere I can complaint about the noise they made? They just flight on top of my roof allday long and I can actually see them.

Thanks

I lived right by there for 20 years (Deborah Dr.) and I don't really remember plane noises. Maybe I blocked it out, I don't know. The only annoying loud noises I do remember is the stupid train that runs right through that area.

Oh... then maybe you have very good sound insulation windows and walls. I couldn't even open any window, since the private jet is waaay too noisy and they drove me crazy!

Seriously? You realize that this type of aircraft costs a few thousand dollars an hour to operate? They aren't circling your neighborhood for their fun of flying.

You can call the SJC airport Submit Complaint

to file a complaint.

I own a couple rentals very near there, and even lived there in another investment property for a couple years for tax reasons, and never had a problem with noise from SJC. If I opened the windows in an upper-story room I could hear faint noise from the airport, but it was comparable to the noise coming from San Tomas Expy, and never a problem. As another person mentioned, the noise from the train tracks, from 1/2 mile away was louder than the airport. Noise from jets overhead was never a problem.

I lived at the corner of Franklin and Lafayette, and the noise from the radios in the students' cars outside my window, where the traffic would back up, was much worse than any airplane noise lol!

My solution was a large fan for white noise:
