Hello,
Recently I had to send my phone off to repair to a very reputed shop in Texas and used USPS priority mail. I went to the store and personally put the phone in the package and handed it to the clerk. However, today the store called and said they received the package but it has no phone in it. What can I do recover the phone. I have already filed an online claim with USPS

Was it insured? How was it packaged?

Yes it was insured. I had put it in the package and had handed it to the clerk. I didn't seal it with tape.

Well it should have been sealed with tape. How do you know it didn't just fall out?

Your only recourse is what you have already done, file a claim with the USPS. If they agree to pay, then that's it. If they don't you are SOL.

Why didn't you?

Is it possible the clerk forgot to seal it and the phone fell in the store?
