Hello,
We may be moving to the Santa Clara area. Does anyone have any suggestions on good elementary and middle schools and the availability of teaching jobs in this area? We have 4 children and we will be on a fairly tight budget. We could live within 60 minutes commuting time from Santa Clara.
Thank you.

We live in Evergreen area of San Jose. This area grows very quickly. Several new elementary schools opened in the recent several years. There should be good demanding on new teachers. Good luck!

Hi, you can check the following website for teaching positions in the Santa Clara County: Choose District

I found my job there! Good luck! Also, use the list as a guide of the districts in SC County and google the school districts you wish to teach for, because I don't think all school districts post vacancies there...

There should be plenty of opportunities in Santa Clara. The loss of teachers (who flee to areas with more affordable housing) has been a Silicon Valley problem for years.
