Just got back from San fran, spent most of the time on Caltrain routes from Mill Brae isiting local towns etc. Just wondered with the history of earth quakes and such, but the whole time I was there, when i was walking around I felt like I was swaying and dipping up and down like a boat on calm water. At first I thought it was jet lag or that i was feeling ill or something but I did not experience this sensation in New York or when i got home. I have read about roller earthquakes but this literally happened constantly and it actually felt quite cool! Was gonna ask the locals but a.) if it does exist they would be too used to it, or b.) they might think im nuts!

Any other tourists experienced this weird floaty feeling out there?

You might have an inner ear condition - something like vertigo - see your doctor. Otherwise, yes, you might be a little nuts. There is no such thing as a "cool" rolling earthquake that just happens casually on a daily basis. Earthquakes are scary events if you can feel them and could be catastrophic too.
