Thanks a lot to all of you for the feed back. Sorry for the late response I didn't get any notifications so assumed that there was no activity on the post. We are looking into all the areas mentioned above. & will definitely look into Morgan Hill as well. Real estate sticker shocked ..Appreciating & enjoying our summer even more in Boston.

I know that it's in a Bay-side county, as my post indicated. I've just never heard of it being considered as a "Bay Area" town, until fairly recently. It's a symptom of how far people are willing to commute, to get affordable housing. (Though this isn't the OP's situation.) Just making an observation. Some people are even willing to live in Gilroy, which also historically was considered to be outside the Bay Area urban core, and to commute in from there, so...whatever. It's all part of the SV phenom.
