Just click on the search engine. You haven't even given some parameters of interest. What do you like to do?
What do you consider "touristy"?

This site http://www.tripadvisor.com lists all the attractions of San Jose, IN ORDER of readers' satisfaction ratings. Each individual attraction listed, has hundreds of readers' comments about it, positive and negative, and links to the website of the attraction with FAQs.

It is an open question in any category.
To get Your and Local's city data member's valued personal views on best things, not tripadvisoryelpgoogle But right here updated right now.

Sounds very lazy to me. Plus, you ask questions yet provide no answers.

Okay, here are a few:

Winchester Mystery House
Egyptian Rosecrucian Museum.
Tech Museum
Art Museum
San Pedro Square
Arts District
Santana Row
Great America
Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk (or Capitola for a nicer experience, but it's farther)
Mission Peak (hiking)
Mt Hamilton
Santa Cruz mountains (redwoods, wineries)

That's off the top of my head. I stay away from TripAdvisor bc nobody has time to read hundreds of reviews of dozens of attractions.

#1 'fun' thing to do (for some) :

- Constantly post questions on City Data about "what to do", "what to see", "where to go to eat" because one is too lazy to use a search engine and considers all other readers their 'minions' to do the work for them.

Woah bessie. Judgy aren't we.
I ask a question and you tell me to answer it myself. Logic and laziness are not a strong suit, huh.
Since I said both touristy and nontouristy, it is in eye of beholder and doesn't matter.
All those words you type and yet no real nonlazy reply.
what is your, SFBoomBayer, very own fave suggested things to do in San Jose area ?

Thank tstieber, and not
But some folks here like TripAdvisor so much better because they have time to sort, read.
I like, prefer to hear the citydata poster's personal tastes.

Gilroy Gardens (amusement park)
Gilroy Shopping Outlets
