Downtown Denver should be the model for Downtown San Jose

Downtown Denver is very successful while Downtown San Jose is really struggling. Downtown Denver retail is very strong and stable and Downtown San Jose has basically no retail. Wholefoods and CVS drug stores are in Downtown Denver's core. It has a great first run theater, too. Lots of retail stores are located downtown. Downtown Denver built its massive convention center in 2000 which brings large conventions.
Downtown Denver has 16th Street Mall with Denver Pavilion on one side of the mall and Lower Downtown with tons of bars and restaurants are on the on the other side of the mall served with free bus shuttles. Downtown Denver has a baseball stadium and an arena. It has large office and hotel base, along with residential base. Downtown here is very lively. Downtown San Jose is dead basically. Google may move in, but it's at least 10 years off. San Jose should follow Denver's footsteps by building density, convention Center expansion, simplifying its transit mall with free bus shuttles, and so on.

Why is it that sometimes you post about how great downtown San Jose is and other times you say it's terrible? There's absolutely no consistency.

There's no retail downtown. I just pointed out that San Jose should look to Downtown Denver on how it got its downtown so successful and emulate here. No reason to doubt what's I'm saying here.

Diridon station could do what Union station did for Downtown Denver which is a huge success for downtown. Anyway, review Downtown Denver's success here and what Downtown SJ can learn from Denver's downtown here: https://www.denverpost.com/2019/05/1...oom-continues/

I'll just put this here since everyone who lives in San José that has given positive feedback about recent development downtown is apparently not to be believed by the OP.

/thread.

1. You don't believe Downtown San Jose should be following Downtown Denver's success?
2. There is no retail downtown. Is there a grocery, drug and clothing store downtown?

Can you explain away these issues?

1. I don't think anyone cares about your thread because you handled your last thread so poorly.

2. Yes, yes, and yes.

And this is my last post. Take good care (wherever you live).

There is a large residential and retail development that is coming close to where Google has big plans, which could really change things even more in the next ten years!

You don't make any sense. My last post? Has absolutely nothing to do with this thread/subject.

Yes, yes and yes on what? No longer rational or making sense???

Yeah, but everyone knows that you don't live here and have no clue what you're talking about. You were clueless when people told you what developments were underway. So, you have no credibility. Why would someone who doesn't live here make so many posts about a place? My guess? You probably failed out of your industry and couldn't afford to live here. So, admittedly, and I don't blame you, but you're a bitter dude. You'll find your niche wherever you are.

You asked three questions. I answered them. I can't comment further because I'll get a violation.
