I be curious why so many zipcodes considered census disadvantaged in San Jose or the Bay Area compared to rest of the state? On the flip side in San Diego county they are hardly any and not even zipcodes in poor Escondido is included. That is at least based on California Air Quality Control board standards which determines whether residents in those zip codes qualify for rebates and incentives. I am already surprised that they base it more than on income. What do they necessary mean by disadvantaged zip codes or census tracts? I don’t see how they are necessary poorer than others? I mean parts of Escondido seems lower in household income and look ghetto but they don’t qualify. In fact in San Diego county only six zip codes qualifies most in inner city and they haven’t started yet despite saying they will begin this year last year.

Also just curious anyone actually done this clean cars for all program? If you don’t mind sharing your experience? If you just moved to the Bay Area or have another home in the Bay Area and most of your documents are from another out of area address can you simply show a electric bill or cell phone bill to qualify?

I would be curious whether the resale values of alternative fueled cars or plug in hybrids skyrocket when these incentives run out and carpool stickers run short just as it did back in 2008. As it appears as people are likely to shun public transportation in the post COVID19 world and that indoor A/C waiting rooms have been removed leading people to wait in their a/c cars more people would be going for electric cars to avoid needing to stop at gas stations where so many people touch gas pumps.

Source? Link?

My superficial web search didn't turn up much on San Jose in particular.
