Hi,
We are contemplating buying a home in the Campbell Union High School district, where our home school would be Branham High School, with the option to transfer to Leigh High School (Free Zone 2). If we would like to select Leigh, we must go through the intradistrict transfer process, which doesn't provide any guarantee enrollment at Leigh due to cyclical site capacity. My question is whether anyone has experience with trying to enroll in Leigh, living in Free Zone 2, and has been denied enrollment there? We recently moved to the area and we're not very familiar with both high schools but I just need to understand if there are any limitations?
Thanks

I doubt Leigh would reject your enrollment.Branham has been more popular than Leigh recently. When our youngest enrolled (we lived in the free zone)a few years ago Branham had a record amount of Freshmen. Both are great schools, good luck!

I used to work there. I haven't heard of them denying transfers to anyone in the free zone. Both are great schools, so you can't go wrong with either one.

Thanks for the information. We just moved but are not in the free zone but would like for our son to go to Leigh. Are intradistrict transfer usually denied for folks OUT of the Free zone?
