I ride my bike and run in that area a lot and have never felt threatened by crime or any other lack of security. It seems like a nice area to me, as long as you don't mind the noise of the airport and the train. Guadalupe River trail is nearby and is great for riding, walking and running.

I like the Rivermark concept but location is key. I used to own a townhome in the Galleria complex which is off of Montague/River Oaks and that appreciated well before I sold it. This was before Rivermark was built.

If I was to buy in Rivermark, I'd stay closer to Lick Mill and away from Lafayette.

Wouldn't be a bad idea to check out what is in Sunnyvale say in the 94087 zip as they have better schools. You might be able to find a bargain although the home wouldn't be new obviously and it'd be smaller.

Hi,

I am looking to buy a condo in the same area...Agnew. This is in "Lake Santa Clara" community and is closer to Agnew/Mission College Blvd intersection. Can anyone comment on how kid friendly this area is?
