Hi,
I am moving to San Jose in the second week of March. I am a housewife and have a lot of free time. So I would like to work part-time in some indian restaurant or something like that. Where can I find these kind of jobs...I searched all over the internet but couldnt find any...Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance....

Go to the restaurants and ask.. from what I've seen many of those establishments are family affairs, but they may need someone to help out. You're probably not going to be able to make any solid arrangements over the phone or email.

Good luck! There are alot of people that actually "need" a job. You just have "free time". No one that is unemployeed and looking for the same job is going to help you because technically you don't have to work.

I used to see 'help wanted' signs in the windows of fast food joints (minimum wage is high in the a Area), but those signs are gone.

I honestly think that the entire country has put hiring on hold.

I have never anything quite like this in my lifetime.

Bad time to relocate and look for work. I would wait till the end of summer if you can manage.
