Are the any hockey players on the board here? I'm moving to Los Gatos in a month or so and I'm hoping to find a decent rink in the area. According to Google maps there's a rink in Cupertino and a couple in San Jose that run men's leagues, does anyone have any insight on quality of the league and of the facilities?

I've been to the Ice Center in Cupertino and Sharks Ice on S 10th in San Jose, and I much prefer the San Jose rink. I don't have any experience with the hockey side of things. If you see any reference to an Eastridge Ice Arena, ignore it, that rink is closed.

Then again, Cupertino Square does do "pickup" games several times daily for locals looking for a game. Great farmers' market on Fridays over there, BTW.
