My parents who retired recently after long careers in science teaching and school administration are visiting us for a few months in the bay area. Since I'm rather new to the place myself, I'd like to know any recommendations for places(museums, parks, gardens, etc) that they would find interesting...
Exploratorium, Chabot science center are on the list but any other recos from those in the know?

TIA!

There's also a "Computer History Museum" in Mountain View that they might find interesting:

Also the Mt. Hamilton observatory:

For parks/gardens there's not much in/around San Jose that can compete with Golden Gate Park in SF.

Thanks. It doesn't have to be all science based. Anything that refreshes the intellect(historical interest) would do as well, besides parks and gardens.

Keep them coming

rosicrucianegyptianmuseum.org I found this to be quite interesting. An Egyptian museum, including mummies!
