Could fine hardly any recent posts about the team. One of the best records in the NHL and bona fide Stanley Cup contenders. What gives?

This isn't a Sharks board. Don't use it as a barometer for fandom.

Bah. I'm from Pittsburgh, so you can imagine what I think about the Sharks.

I'm not really sure what this means. The two teams have virtually no history together.

Exactly. That's why I have no interest in attending Sharks games (aside from the rare occasion when the Pens are in town). I only pay attention to Sharks games during the playoffs, when I hope they'll choke (again) so that the Pens won't have to meet them in the finals.

Anyway, that's going off-topic a little. Back to the original question: Sharks games seem well-attended enough. At least from what I hear, seeing as how I don't follow them.

It seems they are able to fill HP Pavilion every night, their attendance is reported to be 100.4% of the capacity of the building.

No need to worry, because the Canadiens will take care of the Pens for you

I had heard that although they do fill the HP, it is a smaller venue compared to the others in the NHL.
No idea if this is actually true.

Yeah, their hockey capacity is 17,562, which is on the low side compared to other NHL arenas. The norm is usually closer to 18,500. But many of those other teams are unable to sell out their venues, so capacity means little by itself.
