Hello All,

My wife and i just bought a condo in Santa Fe, and we want to furnish it with things from Ikea. Their closest store is in Centennial Colorado. Ikea won't deliver to Santa Fe.
There's a service based in Albuquerque called Deliver505, which says they'll pick up stuff you select at the Centennial store and deliver them to Santa Fe.

Has anybody here had any experience with them?

Please let us know.

Thanks!
Buz

He's great. I can recommend the service without reservations. I even had a leftover IKEA gift card from Christmas (from before we moved to the IKEA desert that is NM), and he met me when I was in ABQ one day so I could give it to him and he could use it on the purchase.

Do keep in mind that he usually goes to IKEA on a Monday, but doesn't deliver to SF until probably Friday.

Thanks for your help!
I wasn't sure if this service is legitimate, because his website doens't seem to be up-to-date, at least in part.
We're going to use the condo for long-stay "vacations" for a while, but we may end up moving to Santa Fe when retirement is looming. So, we were planning on furnishing it with Ikea stuff, but were concerned about getting it to SF.

There is a calculator on the site that will tell you what the fee will be. It's based on purchase price rather than size of item, which can be frustrating if you're buying pricy, small items. But we did the math and it still came out much cheaper than us getting a dog sitter, renting a truck, driving to Denver, spending the night and driving back. It eliminates the hassle.

Welcome to Santa Fe!

Thanks!
We'll be coming back in January after the holidays. It's good to have contact with someone already there.

Best warm wishes,

Buz and Alison
