He's gorgeous! I love IDs. We have a couple of Percheron crosses with remarkable personalities, and one of them is my heart horse, but my favorite mount ever was a big Irish Draught named Agnes.

Let us know how your interview goes!

Best,

Dale

Default Will do

Thanks, Dale. I'll keep you posted.

In a perfect world, I'll have employment and acreage enough to pick up Agnes's soul sister and start a bit of an ID family. Since taking Freedom in, I'm smitten. My kid calls it IDD, Irish Draught Disorder.

Default Holy cow!

Realizing this might be in the wrong thread--as I'm not answering the original poster's question. That said, it looks as if I'm headed to Deming, and quickly, too, as school starts in about five minutes. I got the job. Eeeek! I'm still waiting to hear on the salary and retirement front, but I'm ready to start packing.

Suddenly worried about shipping two ancient horses, of course. I won't be able to do it before I get settled anyway, though, so I have to put the freak out on hold for now.

I'm generally interested in whether people have horses of any ilk in the area. I may have to post my own inquiry. Not tonight. Must sleep.

Thanks for you encouraging words, Dale.
