After reading the GCCC brochure my husband and I decided to join, esp. because of the water class and sauna. Unfortunately, we joined before looking at the sauna.

The door is blacked out (?), so after opening it, the visible part was very dim and looked more like a cave. The room must take a turn because only three people were visible. Although the sign says 10 minutes is the limit, those men were not coming out.

After talking with a couple of local people (we moved here 3 years ago) they said the sauna does not have a good reputation. Read into that what you will.

Has anyone on the forum had any experience with this feature of GCCC?

I've used it dozens of times after my swim. It was fine. No problems at all.

I've used it a few times. Yes, it is rather small, dim and cave-like (i.e. long and narrow), but gave me what I needed.
