Note: This story is satire and meant for entertainment purposes, as it was published on April 1. The Forrest Fenn treasure has not been found.

Default Treasure Location Announced

Fenn says he has permission from the finder to say that the treasure was in Wyoming.

Fascinating! I wouldn't have guessed WY. Wonder why he can't just say exactly where he hid it. ??

He apparently has an agreement with the finder that neither the finder's name, place of residence nor exact location of the treasure would be disclosed without the finder's permission. Not sure why, uness finder is hoping to avoid paying taxes on the value of the treasure.

Default TV show - Expedition Unknown

Pretty sure I saw something about this on that show "Expedition Unknown" on Discovery Channel or History Channel. I thought the show said nothing had been found, but maybe it wasn't too recent. Sounds interesting.
