I know there are a lot of you out there......
In case anyone doesn't read the Herald-Tribune, I thought this was a very important article. This is the kind of place I would love to volunteer at if I lived down there. Instead I'm sending a donation. Help if you can!

Great artical, thanks for sharing, I'm hoping to move to the area in the coming months and hope to continue working with similar org like the Greenville area Humane Society. We did a doggie wash and fluff last weekend made a nice little amount to help the shelter.

Thanks for posting about SDA. I had never heard of this organization so I'm glad you and the newspaper are spreading the word. Very touching stories which brought tears to my eyes. If I volunteered there I would want to take them all home! This is my kind of cause and I'll be sending a donation.

SDA is a fabulous organization. They help quite a bit down here in North Port with the wild cats. In fact, the cat I currently have was a wild cat and showed up at our house pregnant with four kittens. We took her there and got her spade and they found homes for all of the kittens.
