Anyone know if there are any good authentic Jamaican restaurants in Sarasota or Bradenton? I used to live in south Florida and ate at some good ones down there, but haven't seen anything up this way. Higher Heights Restaurant . But I can't find anything else about it. Also saw the website for Jamrocks in Bradenton.

We also looked up Jamaican when we moved here and found Jamrocks. We haven't been there yet. We will have to try out their jerk and pasties...We are also missing live Reggae music, looking for that, too!

Jamrocks is good, I've tasted there from one of my friends bringing me leftovers. They are out on AMI, last I heard.

The Jamaican Flag in Sarasota is supposed to be good, also a new chain place called the Golden Flag opened this June but Ive never been there. Ive heard SUPER things about Jamrocks and really want to go!
