Hello everyone! I am a So.Fla resident looking to get out! We were thinking about the Orlando area but don't think it's going to work out. We are narrowing in our search to be within a 20-minute radius of a Whole Foods Market (where I work and do not want to give up my benefits!!). I do not want to deal with traffic. What are some neighborhoods in Sarasota and/or other nearby towns that offer a safe community and decent schools within a short drive to Whole Foods Market?

We live in the Palmer Ranch area with great schools. I go to Whole Foods weekly and it's very convenient. They have their own parking garage. And the drive is nice, I love driving by that beautiful marina!!

Almost any community in mainland Sarasota will be within that commute. So it comes down to your budget and do you like gated/newer or older in-town type neighborhoods?

We are looking to rent a single-family home UNDER 1500/month. Not too picky as long as the community is safe! I will look into the Palmer Ranch area~

You might also check into the many communities to the north in University Park. Palm-Aire and Mote Ranch are two of the older ones, but very nice.

I would say to check out the Southside Village area. That's within walking distance to the downtown area.
