Looking to buy in Bent Tree Villages. Recently relocated from Ohio. Want to make certain this area is a wise investment.
Also, would we be better on Atlantic coast or Gulf coast.
Thank you!

It's really hard to comment on this. What type of investment are you looking for? Buying and flipping, renting out for a few years, etc? The best cash flow? What is your objective with your investment property?

It's hard to determine what area is best for you without more background. The east and west sides of the state are huge areas and vastly different from the northern to southern parts.

Are schools a concern?

What are you interested in-beaches, surfing, boating, golfing, etc. IMO, the beaches on the gulf side are much prettier-calmer and warmer water. The shelling is better over here. The whole lifestyle over on the gulf coast is a bit more relaxed. If you're into surfing then I would say the east coast would be a better choice. The waves are much bigger and it's just better for surfing.

So, overall if you could give us a little background we could help you out more.

Bent Tree was developed in the mid/late 70's, pre I-75, mostly single family homes, some villas, deed restricted. Rear section is gated, with gated entry also on Proctor Rd., has more expensive, bigger homes, larger lots, developed in the mid 80's.
