On another post someone mentioned they were going to stay at a Marriott in Bradenton. I just went to look it up and found this one as well. Our relatives live in LWR and we thought it would be a good place to stay. And I have Marriott points. Anyone stay here? Anyone pass it by or know anything about it? Opinions please. Thanks

Thanks so much. Sounds like for the price it'll be a good choice for us. Looking forward to our visit. I'm saving the recommendations people make for places to eat as well.

I've never stayed there but we do use Marriott points all the time and they are almost always fine. It's not that old so it should be in decent condition. Only thing I'd be concerned about is the proximity to I75. It's very close. I'd ask for a room on the east side, if it was me. FYI, there's a Holiday Inn also in Lakewood Ranch but a bit further away from the highway. It's supposed to be decent, too.

I've actually stayed at that Holiday Inn once and it was very nice. My son worked for HI once and we got 1/2 price at any hotel. I have Marriott points and will have enough to stay for free at that hotel. Thanks for the heads up about I-75 noise. I'll make sure to ask for a room on the east side.
