Hello Everyone,

We are planning a vacation from NYC to the Sarasota area. We are completely up for a sporatic March or April adventure. I am in the market for a beach front vacation rental or hotel. Family friendly is needed as we have two children aged 5 and 2.

If anyone is renting their home or knows of a great hotel that would be great!

Also, What are some great things to do in the area?

Best places to eat?

Thanks Again!

Go to vrbo.com and rent a condo. Tons of them and vrbo is a very reliable site.

+1 for VRBO. We've rented houses in SC 3 times in the last year through VRBO, and been very happy with them all.

I also agree with VRBO. Many people find good deals on there.

I rented twice through VRBO the first time was NOT a good experience, after we were there we found out the house was in foreclosure and was not maintained. We stayed as we already had paid and didn't have any where else to go but felt we got "snookered". The second time was just over Christmas and the home was very nice and everything was as represented by the owner before we rented.
