I created the thread below a few months ago, but I'm still undecided on who to to go for a good dentist.
Need a good gentle dentist in Sarasota
Things important to me are:
-Patient comfort
-knowledgable staff (who genuinely care and want to offer information)
-Hygenist/dentist not in too big of a hurry (I want a dentist, not an oil change)
-reasonable costs, flexibility with payments
If you didn't already respond to the other thread, I'd like to hear your recommendations, and an explanation why. And if anyone knows of any good websites that rate dentists, that would be great. Thanks!

We recently visited Cooper Creek Dental near University Pkwy. I was impressed. They have a wonderful office staff. From the initial phone call for an appointment, to the point where we were walking out the door, they were friendly, courteous, and helpful. They gave us an explanation of what we were paying for exactly, which is something I have rarely gotten. I actually got that BEFORE service, which was great because it was important to not exceed a certain amount. We didn't have any major problems...just a cleaning, xray, and exam, but the dentist was quite helpful and seemed knowledgeable. They have a very nice office too - its up to date and feels very cozy and clean.

Dr. Hoffman
I recently visited Dr. Hoffman off of Tamiami on Constitution Blvd. Him and his staff are very polite and professional, great service with reasonable prices. I've never liked going to the dentist but they made me feel very comfortable! I highly recommend them...

I saw that she was mentioned on your original thread, but we love Dr. Enzor. She is fantastic, excellent bedside manner, and she will forever be my hero after working on my then-two-year-old with no novocaine, no medication, and no tears! (DD fell and broke her four front teeth.) The downside, of course, is that she does not take insurance, but to me, the expense was worth the great care we received.

Stay clear of Gentle Dental on Tuttle Ave, in Sarasota....and any of their affiliates. They have offices in other locations. They are a traveling scam interested only in money and not their patients. I have been involved with them for years......tragically. I tried hard to believe the best, and ended up with the worst situation imaginable.

Really? My husband goes there - what were you not happy with? You can DM me if you like. There is also another branch of Bayview Dental on Arlington. Dr. Liszewski there did a LOT of reconstructive work for me at half the price quoted by another dentist I visited first. I have been pretty satisfied. I go there for my cleanings also.
