how many palms and how tall (approx) are they?

This can be dangerous and high liability work, not to be trusted to "Chuck with a Truck".

Artistree is one of the big companies I see around all the time. I would think the bigger ones would be bonded and insured.

I work for the country's biggest landscape contractor and we have a tree care branch that works your area. ValleyCrest Landscape. Call the tree care manager, Craig Rowley, and tell him the Safety Manager, Bill, refered you. He will come look at it and give you a quote. We're not the cheapest but we are the best. His cell phone number is 941-809-4132.

i agree with messing about. despite the higher cost i would not pick up a day laborer at home depot or let someone do any of this type work without it being an established company that covers their workers. you have to much to lose.

Frankie's Tree Service does most of the palm and larger tree trimming in our subdivision, and does a great job at a reasonable price. Their web site is Tree Trimming or Removal Palmetto, FL - Frankie's Tree Service or call 723-3340.

Completely agree with radarboy. Just had two very large oak trees trimmed and Frankie and his crew did an outstanding job - on time, thorough and cleaned up beautifully. They are insured and I would not hesitate to recommend them or use them again.
