I agree that your vet may be able to recommend someone. That's what I did when we moved to Lakeland, and a nice young woman who worked there took care of our kitties when we would leave town.
Haven't found anyone here in north Sarasota yet.

Thanks! I don't have a vet for her yet since she went for her annual checkup in October down in the Caribbean (before flying up). I will do some checking around...just hoped someone had good experiences on the forum.

You might want to ask your vet if they have boarding. Then people would play with the cat a few times a day. If they don't offer boarding services, maybe they know of reliable pet sitters.
