That said it's always a good idea to be aware of your surroundings when out and about walking or biking.
My wife was run over walking across a Subway parking lot in Grinnell Iowa in October of 2009. She was in the hospital/nursing homes for 6 weeks and recently had her 2d surgery.

It has changed the way we navigate as pedestrians and how we watch for them as drivers forever.

Naturally the driver was reaching on the floor for a cell phone he had dropped and had basically no insurance

Be careful out there

Could this be that Florida has some weird aversion to building sidewalks?

I'll have to admit, the web page is scary looking, and he does seem as if he has some sort of chip on his shoulder. But he has a very colorful way of expressing himself (no pun intended).

I have to admit, this is the funniest thing I've read in a long time. Wow! What an angry dude!

Here's a blog that I wrote a while back that addresses many of the issues that this person rants about: //www.city-data.com/blogs/blog1...ldnt-want.html

I think my post is a bit more humorous and a little less angry

I don't understand people who have that much time on their hands and choose to spend it writing a rant on anything.

I have to say, SoFLGal's blog beats the stuffing out of that guy's rant any day of the week. This guy's blog brings to mind images of the Unibomber typing out page after page of vitriolic cow dung in his wilderness cabin in the foothills of Montana.
