I am currently giving away most of my Stuff, even things I have bought and never used. I certainly have been a shopper.

I am totally going to unclutter my life and just go with the bare essentials.
Since I have a very nice home,my furnishings will stay and I will always have pride in our home.

Yet most of my cabinets will be empty.

Hopefully others will get to enjoy the things I am donating this Christmas.

Is the point of this post to simply tell people that you are cleaning your house???

Every time I move I get rid of more stuff that I don't use or hardly ever use. I had a customer that moved and donated all his food and canned goods to the homeless shelter. He was giving away stuff left and right. He donated furniture to Habitat for Humanity. He moved from Punta Gorda, FL to Las Vegas. He still wound up with 3 PODS full of stuff when he moved. Sometimes it is good to de-clutter.

Before we moved here we had a huge garage sale, things that didn't sell went to one of the local churches that provides for the needy. It all went to help someone that needed it. I say that is a good thing, of course my cabinets are not empty, we need to provide for ourselves too.

I sold and gave away most of my stuff when I moved to Florida several years ago. Nice to clear things out every now and then and start over.

I do this on a regular basis. I'm a not a "collector" or a "knick knack" person in any way, shape or form. If we don't use it, out it goes. My cabinets certainly aren't bare but what's there is what we actually use on a regular basis.

Plus with 2 boys, their closets & drawers seem to constantly overflow with crap- from pants & shirts they grow out of in 6 months to rocks, broken cap guns & McDonalds toys, I'm always cleaning out, lol...
