We happened to stop in at our subdivision's (Twin Rivers) sales office today, just to see how our rebate was progressing (if you build, i.e., get the slad poured within a certain timeline, there's a cash rebate paid back to the owner__not the builder). I happened to comment that the overall Lot Map had A LOT more "red dots" on it! The sales agent (Rick Bader, if anyone's interested) said that yes, there has been quite a few lots put "under contract" and I suspect (but didn't ask for confirmation...) that a number are being "reserved" by builder's requests.
We might not be so alone out there for a long time afterall!
Knowing how I've been "talking it up" Rick seemed to think I should be entitled to some advertising dollars. Unfortunately, Rick doesn't run the company
