Yes, I keep telling myself that...I am sooooooo looking forward to March 2 or 3 when I can finally relax or at least maybe catch my breath. We are renting for 6 months while we look for a place to buy. In the meantime this week and next is getting our stuff down here, then back to PA for my daughter's wedding on Feb 19th, then settlement on the 28th. Yes I certainly have a full plate, will be so happy to put that plate on a diet!

Wow, what a whirlwind month! You will definitely be ready to take some time and veg out on the beach/by the pool after all of that!

My husband keeps saying he can't wait to just sit by the pool after we've moved and say, "We did it!". It's been a two year up and down road for us to get to this point so I won't believe it's real until we are finally there.

Hooray for all of us moving soon...exciting times!!

Yep, my journey began in August of 2010. House took 6 months to get ready and put up for sale on March 3,2011 and contract signed on Dec 31st after 10 months for sale--then we got 3 offers all at once. I am still in a "between" state literally and figuratively as I am not even wrapping my head around the fact that we will actually be there shortly. There are so many details every single day that have to be addressed that I can pretty much only think of the day in front of me and add things to a list for a future day, right now. LOL I think the best part right now is that since Dec 31st I haven't had to worry about having my house "just so" in case we got a showing!

Congrats Hatagain, I am traveling right down with you! Leaving Rosedale Sunday, Feb. 5. Will be in Port Charlotte on the 6th. As I say good bye to people and dry my tears, I know Florida will make me smile!!! Hope to meet up with everyone once we get settled.

congratulations, hatagain! The only thing that surprised me about moving here, is that it is even better than I had imagined.

Hey I'm moving down too real soon. Closing on my property in Laurel Oak this week followed by the big move the following weekend. Can't wait to get my golf game back in shape!

I turned in the bid, to construct Towsongate Condominiums (Roy Kirby Jr. built them under Commercial Contracting). I worked for Harkins when they built Edenwald. I was involved in the construction of many many many of the buildings all around you including the transformation of the strip shopping center across from you in to the wonderful mall it is today. We'll have to talk sometime.

When are you coming down?

Hey Big House...small world. Well you know what they say, Smalltimore...lol. I'll bet you dollars to donuts that we know of each other or at least have common friends. I practiced law at a large Baltimore firm doing corporate finance, mergers and acquisitions. Then did investment banking for Legg Mason. Now manage money for my clients. Had and restored a historically significant victorian in Ruxton. If you want to communicate privately, my email is hatagain@yahoo.com. Oh, and I'm moving down tomorrow!!
