There are several condos along the Manatee River in Bradenton/Palmetto where you can launch a kayak right from the community dock. Also, Sunbow Bay on Holmes Beach is right on the gulf and you can launch off right there, as is Westbay and many other spots on Anna Marie Island.

Might want to contact a local real estate agent.

I have a kayak that I haul all over the place, no shortage of places to launch from.

Are you looking in Sarasota or Bradenton? What is your price range? Here are some communities that have kayaking and/or kayak storage in Sarasota.

Sorrento Villas – right next to Oscar Scherer State Park where you can kayak
Pelican Cove – in a gated community that offers kayaking
Pine Run – has kayak racks for the nearby intracoastal waterway
Pinebrook Lake Club – has access to the larger Pinebrook pool, shuffleboard and boat launch where you can kayak
Strathmore Riverside - $10 month for boat dock when available, and kayak storage
Beach Harbor Club – fishing pier, boat docks, and kayak storage
Blackburn Harbor – community boat dock and kayak launch
Central Park Sec 2 Ph 1 – Dock on the Hudson Bayou and kayak storage
Harbor Towers Y & R – marina facility with kayaking
Hidden Bay – kayak launch on the intracoastal waterway
Landings Carrriagehouse – kayak launch site
Phillippi Landings – kayak launch site
Pointe on Midnight Pass – kayak racks
Sarasota Harbor – kayak to the mangroves
Villas at Bellagio Harbor Village – new kayak pier for owners
