I live in IW in North Port. We closed on our house in Aug. 2010 and moved down in June 2011. Before buying I did quite a bit of due diligence on Pulte, Inc., so i am aware of the negative posts to which you are referring. I believe these refer to developments in AZ and TX and not FL. Also Pulte is an open shop contractor, so it is possible the adverse comments came from those that believe in only union shop construction and wish to create a negative impressionof the firm for this reason. I do not know. All I can say is that I am very pleased with the quality of home I got for my money, and with the decision to live in IW. Good luck with your decsion.

Thanks catsupbottle. There were some issues in the Bonita Springs development with mold. Continuing to do my research as we were so impressed with Island Walk and the people we met. Venice was charming. Would like to retire to this area.
