Alinari
Alinari is situated downtown with every amenity you could need. A 24 hour concierge and security, meeting rooms, library, world class fitness center, heated pool with spa and waterfalls, wine room, media room, in-house movie theatre, billiards, zen garden, outdoor grilling area and close to everything. The Alinari also has three suites available to use by your guests when visiting. Walk to downtown and enjoy the restaurants, theater, opera, shopping and more. Walk along the water way and enjoy Sarasota's sunsets. Cross the bridge to St Armands Circle for shopping, restaurants, and the beach. The best of all worlds offered here at Alinari. Privacy and security and a financially secure condo association.
Below are the 2012 Maintenance Fees and Budget.

Both condo communities were built in 2007. Both offer 1, 2 or 3 bedroom units. They have similar amenities, although the Alinari does offer extra amenities such as wine storage, fully furnished guest suites for your visitors and climate controlled storage.

Broadway Promenade's price point is lower than Alinari's, with units starting at $189k vs $280k at The Alinari.

The only real complaint I've heard is that they both allow short term leases. Of course, that is a positive thing if you wish to have the option of a short term rental.

We looked at the Alinari. Nice condos but hardly downtown unless you enjoy working up a sweat walking to dinner. Also the pool at the Alinari gets no afternoon sun at all...terrible location for it.

Broadway Promenade
You will love the ambience and amenities of this beautiful building. There is a state of the art fitness center, billiards room, club room, pool and heated spa, bbq area, summer kitchen, concierge, security and guest suites for your visitors. You also have your own assigned parking space in the secured parking garage and storage room.
Maintenance fee includes water, sewer & trash. The Broadway Condominium is located across from Sarasota Bay and public boat ramps in downtown Sarasota. The downtown area offers dozens of eclectic shops, art galleries, fine restaurants, opera, theatres, city parks and much more. With the Van Wezel and Players Theatre literally across the street, residents can walk downtown, catch the Farmers Market on Saturday morning and enjoy many special events throughout the year. A Publix grocery store is right outside the front door and lots of other retail make this convenient lifestyle so wildly popular.
