I am relocating to Sarasota/Venice and wondering if anyone has knowledge or experience finding a job as an x-ray tech in these areas? I am also looking in Punta Gorda, Port Charlotte, Bradenton. I am open to traveling, but was hoping on some advice/ insight.

There are not that many jobs in the x-ray field right now in this area. You just have to keep applying and see if you get lucky enough to get an interview. You will need to get your license in Florida too. Go to the Florida Health Dept web site to see what you need to do:

If you are looking for a recruiter, I would try one of the following employment service agencies. They help people every day to find a job. They offer resume writing and other workshops for free and will review your resume for free. Contact one of the local agencies and get started today. I have many students that used them when I taught at the Charlotte Technical Center.

My stepdaughter used a recruiter for insurance when she moved here from NY. They got her several interviews within a couple of days time frame. So she flew down and they set up everything for her. But they don't do medical. I am not sure where you would find a specific medical recruiter. Hopefully someone can recommend one to you, but in the meantime I would try one of the local One-Stop Career Centers I listed above. Good luck.
