When will the madness end?
I am so thankful my kids (both adults now) are out of school and not having to deal with any of this crap.
My question in this particular case is .. .. .. Why did this teacher have this 16 year olds phone number?

If a teacher ever had to reach me when I was in school, they would contact my parents.
If my kids teachers needed to contact them, they called our home, nothing else.

I actually don't remember a teacher ever phoning except to set up a teacher parent meeting.

He's a pervert. Why would a 16 y.o. girl send naked pictures of herself to this guy, he doesn't look anything attractive at all, quiet the oppostie.
Yikes!!
What does her mother think about all this, or is she even care??

I don't know these people (thank God) but from past similar crimes, I can say, the Mother probably didn't know anything was going on.
Once again, parents need to know what is going on in their children's lives.

Remember,................we didn't have cell phones when we were in school.

Sometimes, I think technology isn't necessarily a good thing.

No, we didn't have cell phones but if we did, would a teacher have your number?
I don't give my number out to anyone who I don't know well. I've had to have it changed once. That is just a hassle.

Technology is a wonderful thing as long as it's used correctly.
I have been so thankful to have my cell phone with me driving sometimes.
You never know when something can happen and there is no phone available.

As a matter of fact .. .. I don't recall seeing pay phones around lately.
Do they still exist or did cell phones do away the need of them

The teacher in the article was a teacher at North Port High School since it opened 7 years ago.

Makes you wonder how many girls were victims of this pervert? If I had a daughter going there, I would be asking a her a ton of questions tonight. Absolutely disgusting.
