When I moved to Florida I either gave my furniture to the new owner of my house or gave it away so I need bedroom furniture, living room furniture and a dinning room table and chairs. I get the Bradenton and Sarasota Sunday papers and I have seen the names of a couple of furniture stores but I know nothing about them, can anyone comment on Rooms to Go, Badcock & More or The Furniture Warehouse or any other furniture stores that are reasonably priced.

I buy a lot of furniture. I don't prefer any one store over another. It just depends on what you are looking for and what price range you want to be in. I also believe you get what you pay for. So if you find something that is a great deal compared to other stores, just check the manufacturer and the quality. I bought a kitchen table and chairs, a bedroom set, end tables, media cabinet and work desks at American Signature Furniture. I bought a leather sectional at Furniture Warehouse. I bought a dining room set at Savon. I bought another sectional at Haverty's. All stores provided good customer service. Never had a problem with the furniture or the people. The only place I bought something that was horrible was Leader's Casual Furniture. I bought lounge chairs for my pool at $189 each and the white paint rubs off the aluminum. They are going to replace them due to a defect but not until a new order comes in which isn't until October and I bought them in Jan. 2012. Rooms to Go has good bargains on entire room sets, but again check the manufacturer. Good luck and have fun shopping.

We got most of our stuff at Rooms to Go and were satisfied. Don't go to the Pink Pineapple (75th & Cortez) unless you'd like to empty out your 401K for furniture. Beautiful stuff....but.....an arm and a leg....
