I am looking for 2 bedroom rental apartment 1500-2200 month range for YEARLY rental in the area of downtown sarasota where I truly can walk to restaurants, supermarket, movie theater, regular theater. south of Fruitville road and west of Tamiani trail. Anybody have any suggestions of names of buildings. I understand need for realtor but at this moment i want to just look at buildings online.

Walk around downtown. If you aren't here, go to craigslist. If there is no phone number listed, it's a scam.

The downtown core is actually south of Fruitville, north of Mound (where US41 curves at the south end) and west of 301 (Mound joins 301 and becomes the Trail again there). We used to live in Laurel Park, which is right in this core. I consider this core to be the only truly walkable part of Sarasota where you have EVERYTHING you need for daily living and entertainment. But as Rushmore said, there are other smaller areas that are somewhat walkable like Gulf Gate, etc., even where I live in Whitfield is somewhat walkable being located right off the Trail; I can walk to my dentist, chiro, a few restaruants, etc. All depends how "walkable" someone needs a place to be.
