When is the best time of year to find lower prices for an annual rental? The same properties I saw a few months ago were $100-200 less than what they are listed for right now.
My dh works from home so we are flexibile with move-in date. We were hoping to move this spring or summer. We are looking for a 2 bedroom in the $900-1050 range. We prefer a gated condo community in a safe area with a pool (tennis would be nice as well). We have two small children, non-smokers and no pets. We would ideally like to be within 20 minutes of the beach in either Bradenton or Sarasota. I know I saw 2 bedrooms at The Palms and Villagio listed for $1000 at one time but now there is either nothing available or the rates have gone up.
I appreciate any feedback on when I should be looking or suggestions of specific properties or areas I should look at that meet or are close to meeting the criteria I mentioned above.

Usually annual rentals are less after Easter. Prices are high now & may not even go down this year due to supply/demand with Siesta Beach designation as #1 in the country. 20 minutes from beach & gated ~ slim pickings.
