We are moving to North Port this summer. I am wondering what activities there are for families. We have two boys 10 and 8 years old. I know they will make friends when they start school - but I am just wondering what to do with them over the summer.

There's a lot for kids to do:

1. Skateboard Park

2. Bike Park

3. Morgan Center-- with all kinds of activities: sports, game rooms, etc.

4. Movie Theatre in nearby Port Charlotte

5. Beaches in Englewood and Venice.

I have two girls 15 & 8. My older one likes to go to the bike park and the skate park, she paddleboards, skim boards at the beach, we are members of The Morgan Center. She used to row and play soccer.

My little one plays soccer and does gymnastics.

There are a ton of kids in North Port.
