What might be the value of parking inside vs parking outside in a lot?With to similar units how much more should it add to the price if it had inside parking?

Some condo communities just have an assigned parking space. There is more of a chance of theft and the salt in the air and the sun can eventually take a toll on the paint of the car. Covered parking under a carport will protect the finish on your car better, but the best choice is a garage. The car is safe and covered at the same time. Condo prices are all over the place depending on where you want to live and what your price range is. If you give me your search criteria, I can run a search within your price range and compare the differences in what you get for just assigned parking versus garage or covered parking. Some communities also have garages that you can pay an extra fee for.

Well, we're shopping for condo's along the gulf - if not gulf-view then gulf-front buildings. I'm just throwing this out there, my number based on nothing but my own arbitrary value - but to me, underground parking is worth about $10k. I would settle for a parking lot shelter, but I would pay a premium of $10k for an underground space.
